Graham Boynton is Group Travel Editor of the Telegraph Media Group, a position he has held for the last ten years. Having grown up in Africa, he has retained a strong interest in African wildlife and wilderness conservation issues. To that end, he has written extensively on the subject for both British and American publications. He spent ten years in New York as a senior editor at Conde Nast Traveler and, helping to steer its responsible tourism agenda, at the same time writing on African conservation and political issues for a variety of magazines including The Nation, Esquire and Vanity Fair. He is the author of the critically acclaimed book, Last Days In Cloud Cuckooland, which deals with the end of colonial rule in Africa.
