Dreamcatcher is not simply another cool tour facilitator or experience for visitors to South Africa - we are much, much more!

Working at grass roots level in South Africa for 25 years, we are proud to be recognised as the founder of authentic, thus 'unstaged', Community Based Tourism in South Africa. We offer the unique opportunity to break bread with South Africans when you visit our amazing country.

Dreamcatcher places people central to the tourism experience. By this we mean the visitor AND the people of South Africa. We offer you an Africa visitors dream about and that you don't want to miss and will never forget. We are building bridges of peace and universal understanding between the visitor and the people of the land. Visitors still get to see the mainstream destinations, where incidentally, the locals live within easy range.

Working with the matriachs in communities across South Africa, Dreamcatcher has developed tour programmes hailed as "journeys of the mind". Our unique and branded experiences such as Homestay with Kamamma(accommodation), Cook-up (traditional meals) and Crafting with Kamamma -and Bhuti, facilitate an understanding of the true nature of the country and its people. Most importantly, these experiences are all based on Fair Trade principles, belong to the local entrepreneurs who become the job creators in their own communities and therefore reap fair benefit from the visitor pound, dollar and euro coming into South Africa.
